The Presbyterian Church in Westfield is blessed with many groups and support organizations who meet on a recurring basis as a part of our Church Community life.
Everyone goes through difficult times. Having someone to care, to listen, and to share God’s love can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness that you may be experiencing.
Stephen Ministers are lay men and women from our congregation who have developed their gifts for bringing the concern and care of Christ’s community to people in need. If you would like to become a Stephen minister, or are in need of a Stephen minister, please contact the church office (908) 233-0301.
This non-denominational group meets seasonally on the second Monday of each month at 1:30 PM in the Christian Lounge of the Parish House at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield. No meetings are held in July and August. People order antibiotics uk with Parkinson’s disease and/or their caregivers are welcome. There is no charge to attend. Qualified speakers address a wide variety of issues relating to Parkinson’s disease (e.g. current and new treatments, alternative therapies, exercise programs, nutrition, and coping skills). Members also have the opportunity to share experiences. Light refreshments are served. A lending library of books on Parkinson’s disease is available for members.
For more information contact facilitators Barbara Ringk at (908) 322-9214.
There are many, many small tasks around the church that need attention. A group of dedicated retired handymen tackle these projects each Wednesday morning. Members arrive in the George Plenty Room (in the Parish House) at 9 am, discuss the projects to be dealt with that day and then set out to complete them, finishing up around noon. If you are interested in being a craftsmen contact the church office 908-233-0301.
